BLOG SPOTLIGHT: Anatomy of a Booknerd
It's been so long since my last update and today I'm bringing you Alena of Anatomy of a Booknerd, a new found friend of mine who shares her views and opinions on book related stuff with me. She's very friendly and her blog consists of book reviews and other book features with a bit of her personal life and adventures! I started blogging back in 2009, when I was in my third year in high school! :)
How did you start your blog? Did it occur to you that you are already a book blogger or your love for books just can't be contained that you incorporated it almost everyday in your post?
I stumbled upon a blog named shuffledkisses.tumblr.com and it kinda inspired me to run my own blog, so I signed up for Tumblr and I kept on changing URLs back then until I settled in dustypromises.tumblr.com for 4 years. I signed up for wordpress back in 2013 for a separate blog for my love for books but I've been going through a lot that year so I kinda gave it up. By the latter part of 2014, I decided to combine my personal blog and book blog so that I wouldn't have a hard time running two blogs at a time. And so I said goodbye to dustypromises. Thus, anatomyofabooknerd was born. And yes, most of the posts on my blog are about books and my love for them. :)
How often do you post on your blog?
I try to post as much as I can but I'm no magician, so my goal is just to post at least once/twice a week.
Do you always go on book signing events? How do you feel whenever youu meet that person behind our treasured books?
As much as I want to, no. :( Most of the book signing events are during Sundays and Sundays are usually our family day so. But I've went to one, during the Kiera Cass signing back in 2013 (I think?) and I'm planning to go to her signing again on September. :)
Best buddy in the book blogging community
I may have kind of stopped book blogging before and I haven't really been with a lot of people yet but for this question, it'll be Hazel of Staybookish. She's the first ever book friend I've had in this virtual world. <3

My top three fandoms would prolly be: The Mortal Instruments series, the Saga series (a graphic novel) and the most recent one would be the Mara Dyer series! Aaaahhhh!

To every booknerds out there, I know it's a struggle to squeeze in some reading in our busy schedules, but let's face it, books will always keep us sane, so no matter what, keep reading. <3 And to all the newbie book bloggers, just keep it real in every post you make and everything will fall into place. <3
